People these days have short attention spans, so in the past couple decades, it was more about what's on the screen than what's in the script. It's a shame with all the crap that movie producers get away with. You know, whatever cranks out the dough, right?

Smaller and/or independent films are better than the multi-million dollar productions with script and acting quality these days.

Man, taking film history class gave me a different view about movies these days.

 

just got back home from watching better luck tomorrow... Bad *** movie!!! I love foreign/small budget movies.

I'd like to see "Bend It Like Beckham." Talk about off-beat! I've heard good things about the movie and it's playing locally at a UA theater, not a little art theater. I don't think many people have heard of it though, so it may not be playing there much longer.

If there is an Indian store near you that rents movies, they may have Bend It Like Beckham on DVD...

That's my little Indian hook up right there for my BAIC folks

Rentals are usually less than $2 and only 1 day though, as the demand for Indian movie rentals is enormous.

SLC punk was a really good movie, I didn't think I would like it but it turned out to be a really funny movie. BLT saw that the other week, a very good movie, had me really involved with the characters, plus i thought stephanie was really hot, also I like how they used the DJ Shadow cut at the end, I listen to that song and all the songs on "The Private Press" all the time in my car. For those of you into korean films, I recommend "My Sassy Girl" best romantic comedy I have seen, I had to order the VCD but I watch the last scenes practically everyday. I still must say that my all time fav movie is still Spaceballs.

Caught this movie a couple of months ago on the ol' dish and have to agree that this was a good movie. Alot of DVDaphiles were really looking for this to come out on DVD.

Damn, that took a lot of courage to admit that...

 

cant go wrong with anime....

but the movies are goin down the drain just like "rap" music is.

ARE YOU @#$%ING KIDDING ME?!?!?!?! That movie was absolute comic genious. It was my favorite movie bar none for about five years. The only reason it has dropped on my list is because I've seen it about infinity times. Geez man, get a sense of humor.

Dude, you have to read what I said. I never said that "Dumb and Dumber" was a bad movie (I didn't say it was comic genious either).

What I wrote was (and I apologize for the incorrect term in my original post), "Was a PREQUAL REALLY really necessary?"

The new movie entitled, "Dumb and DUMBERER" (note spelling) doesn't even star Jeff Daniels or Jim Carrey. Coming to a high priced theater near you...

okay... lemme throw my 2 cents... er... my $6 and $9 in (how much UC CENT 25 charges...)

i like going to movies. okay, so i have no life.

but movies are a way of getting away from the boredom known as work. 40-50 hours of crap and i like the 2-3 hours of mindless, sometimes fantasy crap that i can squeeze out.

if the car and truck aint broke, and i have no car or truck related event, i'm at the movies.

okay, so i saw the REAL CANCUN. it was stupid. but a few bits were fun.

i saw MALIBU'S MOST WANTED. that had some funny bits (i didnt know that H1s had ON-STAR in them...).

i look forward to the X2 and the M2 coming up the next couple weeks.

sure i dont watch EVERY movie. but i try to make it once a weekend. always shoot for matinee if i wake up...

btw, i had planned for a BAIC/UCKK viewing of 2F2F on the first tuesday after it comes out in june...
