New GoKart track in Santa Clara. "K1 Speed"
22640 isn't here. nevermind. their RPM isn't the same as the way other places score. basically the more you go to K1, the higher your RPM.
back on topic. i figured eventually someone will break into the 20, but not so soon. hamza did a 20.457 on sunday.
upon further investigation...
that time can't be real. something must have happened.

I was getting kinda pissed though, in the second race the karts weren't at "full" power and I could take the entire track without any braking/lifting. I had to motion to the flagger to give us more power. He gave us more power and it kinda felt like more than usual which was awesome, but the first half of the race was still slow as hell.
We complained and they kept saying "we had it on full power" which means either they're BSing us or a glitch in their system.
You can hear the speed difference in the whine, and the fact that you never have to brake when the power is down. And finally, you can see that when the "power is up" you run 22.x's and when "power is down" you run 23.x+.
They really need to fix this.
Here is my first experience at K1 Santa Clara.

Hmm... Interesting, watching that video, I really started to notice how much the barriers have moved. Maybe that's why lap times are getting even faster. Turns 8 and 9 have changed a lot.
