Smile New '06 STi in SJ

Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. I picked up an '06 Steel Grey STi from Livermore Subaru for $200 over invoice. Not the greatest deal, but I got a good deal on the trade in and on financing so I'm not complaining. My last car was a Mini Cooper S, so I'm new to the world of turbo's and I'm sure I'll have lots of questions. Don't really see any point in posting pics of a stock ride, so I'll wait till I'm past break in and start on my new masterpiece:-)

FYI, if you have any friends with Mini's I have a ton of aftermarket parts I stripped off the Mini that are for sale.

-Marc

Welcome to the suby community. I think I saw your car a few times on the way to 680-N.

Welcome to i-club, and nice car choice!

What kind of Mini parts do you have? My friend just bought one but I don't know if she wants to void the factory warranty yet. Any cosmetic upgrades?

ZeR0, I just got it on sunday and I haven't been on 680 (aside from bringing it home), so it probably wasn't me;-)

slvrsubywgn, Snow tires and wheels, a set of new Potenza S03's, and 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1's with BFG Gforce rubber. I also have an Alta Intake, Milltek Catback exhaust, and a Unichip piggyback ECU. Basically everything in the Webb Motorsports Stage 1 kit minus the 15% pulley (which I left on the car).

Don't worry about voiding the warranty mini and BMW are reasonable to deal with on warranty issues as long as you dont do something that causes the engine to fail or drivetrain your still covered

Actually that's why I got rid of the Mini, could have just been my dealer but I had CEL issues as well as some mystery noises and phantom electrical problems they tried to blame on the mods.
