Wow, they came forward with that? Thats SOOOOO rare these days.
Last wed someone took me out in a parking lot. I came out of work to see my front pass fender just destroyed! Looks like a taller vehicle did it since the damage is sort of high up. This is not just a ding, I need to replace the fender and possibly the front bumper!
Bastards didn't leave a not or anything, they are so god damn lucky I didn't see them when they were fleeing, I would have opened their car like a can opener and ripped the driver out of his seat and smashed him against the brick walls we have in our garage! 
I was flipping FURIOUS for hours after.
