So my wife hit a skunk w my rex... cleaning?

On her way home from work ( she takes the backroads for the twisties ) and she had a skunk bolt in front of the car with no time to react. I took it to the local high pressure wash place w no luck, and the smell is seeping into the house from the garage now. As much as I love the car, it may have to sleep outside tonite So my question is, does anyone have any good cleaning tips to get rid of that damn smell?

thx.
-Nate

Ug, dude it takes forever to get that smell out. My friend got sprayed in his Geo one, and it stunk for a month. Nothing we could do would get the smell out.

There's gotta be something out there that will work, though.

yea I am sooo stoked about it, I will tell you what though, I will not be putting that car on the dyno anytime soon ..... I found something about hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, it didnt get on the exterior ( paint ) only underneath so I ccould spray it down pretty good.

Eww last summer an upset dorm mate put fish and clams allover under her doormate's car hood. It would have sucked really bad in the Vegas heat put the chick took her car to get the oil changed the next day.

Pet stores sell chemicals that are used to clean up animal ****. Dilute 1:1 with water and go to town. It can take more than one application, but it works relatively well.
