Need ticket fighting advice

that sucks. I just got one for going 75 in a 65. I hopped on the freeway, merged into the lane I needed to be in since the merge lane ended, and dropped my speed to 70. I wasn't on the freeway for more than 1/4 mile. What's up with the CHP lately?
