Need suspension advice
Put me down as another vote for sway bars, koni yellows, and nice springs.
I'm running eibach springs and sway bars with my koni yellows. Gave me a nice stance and superb handling. I previously had bc br coilovers. Big mistake. Super harsh, bouncy ride... On the track I'm sure they would be ok... On street, I believe my current setup handles better as I has the ability to absorb some bumps instead of bounce and lose grip...
If you come to philz Sunday morning, you can test mine too. It's a 10' wagon.

Bc coils suffer from lack of travel, my inside rear wheel would lift on turns and the car would skip and bounce, not fun for a city driven dd haha
They were nice on flat roads though and longer higher speed turns like parts of highway 17. That was when I liked the stiff, flat suspension characteristics more than the softer st coilovers I have now
The bilsteins I have on my legacy are perfect balance between too stiff or too soft and are very streetable, but they cost waaay more haha

I have an 06 wagon. By far the biggest bang for the buck was whiteline swaybars.
I then rolled swift springs which helped keep the car flat a little, but really was more cosmetic IMO.
I now have Feal 441's, which I finally have set up for street comfort. It's a whole new level of control with coilovers, but you pay for it in road noise and less wheel travel (stiff over big bumps).
I actually am considering the above recommendation of Koni's, just becuase my old man tendencies am wanting my quieter and smoother ride back.
Where do you guys buy Koni's? Who modified your stock strut bodies?

My car is bumpy. Hell this morning I was just chilling... driving... drinking my coffee. I put it down on my lap and I'm just cruising through town. BAM. Coffee everywhere. I looked behind me expecting to see a body or something. Turned out to be a manhole cover or some crap. Something very small. I was like... WTF man. Coffee everywhere.

Yea the Feals are a good bang for the buck. Valved in house for your application, delivered with swift springs, customizable to any spec you desire and can be rebuilt for cheap. They even deliver with ride height and pre-load dialed in for you to just install and roll. Having installed other budget coilovers, they seem to be more robust than others. $1300
Yea, no more open cups in my car...haha

I hear great things about the Feals.

I got mine form THMotorsports. They had the lowest price at the time. I got one of my friends to help me drill and cut the stock struts. Luckily I only needed to cut the front struts on my car, the rear shocks were a direct replacement.

Thanks Jourdan.
Looks to be about $624 for a set of 4 from there. Type in taxbreak2014 in the promo code and it takes off $9.36.
I guess I might just have to sack up and cut them myself. There must be a DIY thread somewhere.

I've been on Ground Control/Konis/Swift Race Springs setup since 2007. I've had many other setups before that, but this one was one of the cheapest and really worked well for me. I like that I can set the rates to my taste, and that the OEM valving works to about 10 or 11k spring rates.
I've heard great things about the Feals. Feals are likely my next suspension just simply based on the great customer service and that it's a ever evolving product from Feal.

Just a side note here.... anyone that's telling him how to set up their car based on what they're running on their 2008 or new chassis needs to GTFO. That includes you Jamison.
LOL! Seriously though. Totally different car.
I had to learn that the hard way. I was giving advice on newer cars based on my set up. Then I started reading up on it and there are some very key differences in part selection.
Also... tire rack ad... 25% of koni. Buy the yellows!!!

But sway bar recommendations in size and set up are different. Spring rates are different (coil overs). End link brands for one are different. i.e. whiteline is the isht for my car... not so much for your car. Etc.
If you put my sway bar set up on your car you'd be like... wtf?
but yeah... in the general sense sure. But in specifics, no.
