Need some body shop advice, please

I went to a local bodyshop today with my fiberglass 2.5RS/v5 Sti sideskirts and molded mudguards, and I got quoted ~ $1300 for molding/mounting and paint (includes molding to the frame, doing bondo work to smooth out the attachment lines so it looks like part of the frame, and re-painting front fenders to match the front mudguards)
If you've got an L with custom mounted sideskirts, would you mind telling me how much the installation at the bodyshop was? I need some reference points to determine if I should go ahead with the body work.
Btw, I have a 95 L sedan that did not come with sideskirts. See attachement pics.
Thanks,
Jon

you should just go to bunch of different shops and get a quote and price is an issue for you. I don't know how this one would stack up, but I know they do good work. Oh, and you might want to post your location so people can refer shops near you.

Thanks for the recommendations. The pricing issue is what I am mainly concerned with. I was looking to spend under $1k, since I paid over $200 for the skirts already, its hard to tell what place does good work for the amount you pay. My location - Fremont/Union City

Hey Jon, try the place that I took my car to. Talk to Howard, tell him I sent you, and that you know Christian (the guy with the blue M3). It's called Corvette City Auto Body.
