How much are you asking? This is for the 4/2 pot setup on the 06WRX?

I've been using the Ferodo DS2500 and love em but they are expensive.

I keep reading that I'm going to have to move to DS3000 for the track but so far the DS2500 have worked well. I'm only a B group driver on stage 1 power and 225 summer tires. I plan to NOT go to r-comps and will stay at this power level.

Noah, how do you feel the StopTech SP's compare to Ferodo DS2500... particularly on the track?

I'm a fan of both the Axxis and Stoptech's. They're very similar pads all around and work great for agressive daily drivers as well as light track use.

If you autoX and need a cold bite it's hard to beat Axxis ultimates...they dust badly but operate really nice when cold.

Completely agree there! The dust from the Axxis also washes off easily unlike the stock pads.

I don't feel there is a comparison for those side by side.

DS2500's are a much more desirable mild/semi-agressive track pad

SP's are a DD w/ light track use pad (by no means mild/agressive)

my $0.02

I couldn't agree more that these are race pads and not intended for street! Although I love them on the street (great bite) I change them out (pads and rotors) as soon as I can get around to it after an event.

All of these other posts are far more on topic than mine... ;-)

Cheers, Bill

True. I think Panda may need to chime back in with what the goals for his car and this particular set of Brake Pads will be so that everyone can help narrow down the particular pads that might work best for his application as I think you're right that we have covered a fairly broad spectrum from mild street to aggressive track pads here.

It's hard to beat Hawk HPS for a street driven car.
They dust, but so what

yup 06/07 4-2 pot setup. i put them up for obo, but theyre brand new and i've never taken them out of the box. got some stoptech sp's for DD so these need to go. i decided not to pursue another track season , but i absolutely LOVE these DS2500's. even for daily use they are awesome, but slightly overkill, which is why i ended up with the stoptechs.

The brake pads are only going to be used for DD as stated in the earlier post.

To the OP, there are axxis ultimate pads on there already. FYI!
