Well i would have had no cash at the end of the month if i got the sti. My insurance would have been 345 and my payment would have been 425 and then rent is 875 it just would have been way to much. I still love subarus but i just drive an rx8 =) it might not have as much hp as my wrx did but its still just as fun to drive.

345 for insurance? wwwtttff sucks being young.

Eh same boat here, I got quoted at 600/month for insurance on a z06 (I pay $50/month right now). Gotta friggin' turn 25 already.

I'll tell you what, I just finished putting in Spec-D's with Swift springs. With RCE front camber plates and group N top hats in rear. At the same time installed the Perrin 'anti dive'.

Wow! Is all I can say!!!

This comes after removing a new set of coil overs that just were ridiculous on the road (and they were 5K and 7K spring rates, the softest I could find). Yes, the 'turn in' was great. But, NOT worth the pounding I was taking.

Now my ride is firm but not excessive, with the plates and Tokico's, the 'turn in' is just as good as the coil overs and the car is on rails!

...and I can drink my coffee in the car again!
