The strange part is that it doesn't have any problems at a complete stop but only while in decel. This could have to do with the vehicle speed sensor. BOVs can also get dirty over time and stick open causing similar issues. Logging the fuel trims would help rule this out.

Thanks

Don't know what the problem is, but what would be a good idea is to run your bellmouth dp with a stage 2 tune rather than a stage 1. And lose the BOV since they do nothing but cause problems. Hope you figure out the issue!

CASE CLOSED
Installed my new fuel filter (located in fuel tank) and car runs like new, problem went away....the fuel filter was almost black inside and clogged because...
...removing fuel pump assembly found out that there is no fuel filter sock that's supposed to be attached to a pump and fuel return line is disconnected
why would you do that dear previous owner (VladiWRX or Louis)???

Wow. No pre filter bag can lead to all kinds of problems.
Exactly which fuel line was not connected?

I owned that car back in 2007 for 6 months. Never even touched anything aside from exhaust on it, let alone fuel pump or filter. Louis told me he installed an STi pump onto it after he did the STi interior and headlights swap. I can't believe he drove it for over 2 years like that. Glad you got it straightened out.

On a different note, there are only 2 lines going to the pump. Both are very important. How did it even run without one connected?
