A while back I saw a black sti or sti styled wrx with wide gold 18's or 19's that were rattle canned. He listed his paint color (which is what I'm really interested in) as well as the method he took (including curing them I think with a heater in the garage). Car might have had a voltex diffuser or other cf rear diffuser. Anyone know the car or even able to find the thread? Thanks a lot!

 

I think you are referring to Sean aka DownSTI.. And, I believe he used Rustoleum Gold..

 

maybe? looked like prodrive gold (pff7 dark yellow gold). Close at least in terms of memory are picks of vht 182 gold I saw on nasioc.

oof ouch. sorry to bring that one up. but yeah, that's the car. I'll try searching for that thread where he talks about wheel painting.

 

Ouch, that really sucks about what happened to his car. Glad he is okay though.
