Need HELP~! Whiteline G4 Coilovers
Hi,
Does anyone have an extra Whiteline G4 height adjusting wrench that i could borrow, or possibly buy for like 5 dollars?
Im trying to adjust the ride height, but the bottom piece on the front coilover seems to be stuck--it won't rotate up or down. If anyone can give me some advice, please do so!

if its the new design then its just an allen wrench, 5mm I think. dont you have a set of allen wrenchs around you could try out?

i second that. unless they've changed the design recently, the allen key should work just fine. be sure you don't overtighten that bolt; it doesn't take much to set it.
also, if you're having problems raising and lowering the height, you might just have to clean the threads so there's no grit blocking them. a stream of water should work fine and they'll spin real easy.

thanks for the replies...it is the design where the little bolt holds the bottom plate in place. However, i did loosen the the little screw and the bottom plate still doesn't move. I just want to see if the wrench will give me that extra force needed to make it twist

throw some liquid wrench in there, let sit, repeat. Also be sure the threads are really clean.
Reassembled mine last weekend (going on the car on Saturday, just in time for Boondoggle
) and a couple of the adjusters needed some TLC as above to work freely again.

you also minght need to pull the allen screw all the way out then stick a flathead in the groove and pry it open just slightly in case the collar is completely frozen on there.
