need a 42 mile tow

Yeah they want 500 bucks to tow it........anybody know of a cheaper place........east bay to novato

I think you have to be a member for one year before you can upgrade to AAA Plus w/ the 100 miles of free towing.

Even without the plus membership it isnt $12/mile, but its going to take him time to get the account set up and recieve the card. Rent a truck and car dolly from uhaul.

remove rear axle half shafts and you can tow with a dolly...

If you have a friend with the AAA Plus, they can call in for you. They just need to be present and sign the papers.
You only get four free tows a year though...

Yeah aaa neglected to tell me this and tried to charge me the 500. thanks ldivinag......I know it sounds lame but you just took a bunch of stress of my back, thanks a bunch.............I think it's only costing me 17 bucks now.

Yeah. It's called rent a flatbed trailer from u-haul, call up your buddy who's got a truck, then get 2-3 people to push your car onto the trailer, and drive it up.

This solution is far cheaper, and it's what I've done whenever I need to tow something long distance

Face it, it's either spend 50 bucks and 4 hours of your time to do it yourself, or 500 to hire someone

No it's only 17 bucks now that i've been able to navigate triple a's bull**** thanks to ldivnag
