I'm assuming you don't have AAA membership?

No I do...... lol. It's because the car isnt currently registered which they charge extra for and for the added miles.

Yeah, they won't tow out of reg cars anymore.

Extra miles?! That's like a 25mi trip!

Hey Dan, it's Paul with the fxt. I may have a lead on a trailer, but I'll need to make some calls once I leave work. Hope your car is okay though.
I'll shoot you a text later tonight

The most expensive AAA plan is only like $120/year and that gives you 5 tows up to 100 miles, so I don't know where they get off on asking $200 for a single trip instead of upgrading your plan for $60.

If it's not registered you go into AAA or DMV and get a "moving permit" which is allowed specifically for this purpose - transporting and repairing cars that can't be registered in their current condition. Last time they gave me 2 at once, and the truck driver that showed up didn't even look at it.

$120 premiere is 200 miles
$91 plus is 100

The membership I have is the basic attached to my parents account so I had no idea what the plan rates actually were. Its stupid if its only $91 a year for a plus membership to charge $186 for added miles to the tow if you only have the classic. If I can't find anyone to take me then ill have my plan switched over. I just didn't want to deal with any of that **** right meow.

If someone has access to a trailer, I am willing to step up with the 3500 and tow, for fuel (figure 40-50 bucks or so, the rig is a pig)

Wash the car. Push the car into the street, slap at 2015 sticker or swap plates from another car and then call AAA. Tell them car won't start and tow to LIC. 9/10 times the tow truck driver just wants the fare.
