N.A.S.A Laguna Event. . . 2 Weeks !
saw a couple questions, cant be bothered to reply specifically (sorry, im the epitome of a lazy ****)
I HIGHLY doubt anyone will have a car with enough power to warrant a lift in turn one. Stay flat until you start braking for 2.
I saw that PDF regarding the line, everything but turn 2 looks ok. I always take a double apex line through two.
Turn 6 has BUKU positive camber, turn 6 is where a lot of crashes occur. you never want to lift mid turn, its just a racing no no, but if you lift in turn 6 you have a very large probability of dropping wheels or crashing, once you turn in, you HAVE to stay committed to that throttle.
For turn 8, Brake early, brake hard, the brakes are your friend. After turning in for 8 the road will disappear, just aim for the fat *** oak tree and get ready to turn right for 8a. its not nearly as bad/scary/shocking as everyone makes it out to be.
Look where you want to go, brake early brake often, don’t **** (clutch lingering in turn), and the ultimate racing cardinal rule; he with the fastest hands win. Ill probably be there, but I wont be on track.

A quick question for the track ****** out there (you know who you are!)

Here is what I've always been told... higher pressures tend to keep the car more stable, but if you start running hard, the tires get hotter and greasier sooner.
I usually start around 38 and lower them from there. You can bring some shoe polish (or something similar) and put dots on the edge of your tire... where the sidewall and tread meet. You can lower the pressure until is shows that it ran on the sidewall... then add a pound or two back.
I always bring an air compressor (for like bike tires, etc) and a good tire gauge. Those are essential.
Also bring some rags, paper towels, and glass cleaner.
Oh, and also very important... I don't know who has experience and who doesn't, but bring something to block your wheels because you don't want to put the parking brake on after a run. I bought mine from lowes. It works great.

I usually run at 40psi all the way around on the track, but that's my personal preference. You can try different settings with each session.

hey there...great day yesterday. Seca was soooo much more technical than thunderhill that's for sure, my brakes took a real beating...thank god I upgraded to the portersfield pads or I would be in the wall like that unfortunate yellow honda driver.
BTW Austin (WRX RUSH)....I'm still scrubbing the black marks off my front bumper from your flamethrower exhaust pipe!!!! That is one quick WRX you've got there ...the guy in the red 360whp evo thought so when you caned him on the main straight. LOL.
thank you bro for me for taking all the photo's...my email is glenspen@mac.com
Next stop, infineon at the start of february.

Oh man it was a great day yesterday, cheers to everyone that was out there ! We got to see a beautiful track day, and even a little bit of rain in the 1st and 2nd session. I got to see a Viper spin directly in front of me, and I was watching from the stands to see a type-r get nutty into a wall after turn 3. Great day and I am glad I got to see a few other WRXers at the track day.

Congrats to the Suby group for staying on track! We didn't have any calls for any Subys at all. Yes I hooked up both the Integra and the GT3. Shame, both cars were pretty beat. WRX RUSH - car looks nice and nice driving. That black STi with the exhaust silencer sounded really weird going by...
