Ouch. Thank god you brought your son with you. I wish I had the option of pulling my registration and making my car a race car.

Your one luck SOB Joseph. Now take that ricer exhaust off, have your FMIC anodized black, and get yourself a twin tip muffler and you won't have a problem like that again.

Stealth is everything.

Good one man, you got lucky this time! I heard the same thing about cops taking these classes so that they can identify off-road (illegal) mods. This is why I'm so paranoid driving around with no cats.
Back when drove my 5.0 around I never got pulled over for not having cats and that thing was loud as hell. In fact the coppers even gave me thumbs up and when I did get pulled over for doing dumb stuff I almost always got out of it by being cool and shooting the shiz with them about how they liked 5 ohs.

I say go for a twin tip exhaust like the Borla Hush, and adonize your FMIC flat black, remove the wing and you'll be cool... I am the master of being pulled over. I've gotten tickets since April '03 that have totalled close to $4000... Latest pull over was by CHP for "leaving my blinker on too long while changing lanes".... Trust me, go stealth...

See people that's why you have kids.

But seriously it looks like he gave you a ticket for no insurance and no front plate. I'd try to fight these stupied tickets.

I could be wrong as I've never gotten the ref ticket but yea.

Regardless good luck dude.

Hey Joe,

I agree with steve_AI on your site. If you get sent to the ref...You can pay the extra fine ($260.) and be done with it....or put it all back to stock and go to the ref and STILL pay a fine ($170). I paid the bigger fine and was still able to register the car this year.

Have fun at the track
