S.F. is a crap hole...sorry.

I used to work in S.F. a few years back. It seems like there is a low income housing project every 5 blocks or so. Streets to avoid:

Anything near 15th and Valencia
back in the day, Supply of Crack couldn't keep up with demand.

Sunnydale and Hahn (I think I spelled that right)
Talk about a complete pit that leads right to hell. This is dope dealer central. If you can avoid walking anywhere near this area at night, don't. Or at least be packing.

Hayes and Haight (I think they intersect)
Avoid this place at all costs. Here you will find the Hayes valley apts. (projects). The Haight st. facing units are where many of the dealers frequent.

There are many others but my memory of them has faded (thankfully). In anycase, there is lots of drug dealing going on. Where there is drug dealing there are drug users who are desperate. They'll cut your throat if given the chance. Also, where there are drugs, there are guns, and that leads to shootings. Isn't the city just wonderful...

Firstly: I admit, I was using your tragedy to point out the importance of profiling by law enforcement agencies.

Actually, I contemplated whether to include that last part or to leave it out.
But knowing how you feel about the police profiling, say Arabs, I couldn't help myself.
Now that your girlfriend gave them the information, the police can exclude a fair number of suspects(they won't waste their time looking for white, Asian, Mexican, etc suspects) and quickly home in on a Black male. Hell they probably already know his name & prefered illegal drug.

Anyway, if you need a gun, I can hook you up.

From 15th to 18th on Shotwell is one to stay clear of as well (don't ever ever park your car there) as anywhere near 21st and Capp. My buddy lives there tho - blocks from the last shooting - and I am always on full alert walking through there, expecting to be messed with.

If you have the opportunity to shoot a criminal, please kill him/her. Wounding them will just bring you headaches in the form of lawsuits now. Just kill them dead.

You drag the body behind the dumpster, and leave. If you're really inspired, you call a Forester owner to sweep the place, transport the body, and use the carcass to fertilize some redwoods.

That sucks. That guy will burn in hell. Sometimes it's this kind of thing that reminds me why it's not just sunsets and palm trees that make me so lucky to live in Hawaii.

She's quick, she already got a new cell and transfered the number over. He probably just rifled through it and realized there was no cash and dumped it in a garbage can somewhere.
