Well I have been without my car since Monday. I brought it in to have the check engine light diagnosed and I found out that my computer is not functioning properly. So this is fixed by removing the computer, sending it to the factory, getting it re-programmed, and re-installing it when it is returned. So hopefully I will have it back by tommorrow. So are there any issues I should expect on return? Or will the re-programming not mess with anything? Just curious.

 

Sorry to hear about that Zach. If it's not one thing it's another. Is it covered under warranty?

 

Fortunatly yes. So far it has been in the shop for at least 1 month in the past year for broken things covered under warranty. I would say Subaru quality sucks if it wasn't covered under warranty.

 

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Anyone got a loaner ECU in the meantime?

 

I get it back tomorrow hopefully. Let's just say I have been spending a lot of time watching TV and playing videogames lately.
