I'll be there with my Canon EOS 5D......just like last year, although I wont be offering onsite prints, it was too much of a PITA last year....so this year I'll just be posting pics up on my website, prints can be ordered online if anyone wants one.

bump!

I just got my sigma 28-70mm F2.8-4 DG lense. Seems OK, need to take some photos though.

I'll be there too and plan to take a ton of pictures as well. I'll be shooting panning pictures with my canon 1dm2 and try to get everyone as they enter the parking lot. The downside to getting there early is that my car won't be in any of the other pictures.

I would rather get there early. Waiting in the mile long exhaust line sucks.

For canon users.. It really depends on your price range and what you shoot most often. I would rather get the 70-200 f4L over the 7x-300 IS since it'll be a lot sharper, better colors in the pictures, and white lenses would get more ohhs and ahhs. I have the older version 80-200 f2.8L and I can add a TC to it making it 340mm.

I don't have a macro only lens but if I were to get one it would be something in the 100mm range. I also don't have any lenses with IS. I prefer fast lenses since I shoot sports too.
