I went up there halfway around 11 am today b/c I was bored. Drank too much coffee so I had to turn around a few miles up. While I was on the way up, this minivan crossed over into my lane a bit coming down the opposite direction. Bad, bad, minivan driver!

if you do happen to do a pre-drive. just keep in mind how strict the chp and park rangers are going to be that day.... dont be the person that'll ruin the day for everyone else.

If you are doing this prior to July 23rd......

Please be smart when going up there. The park rangers and CHP have had to be convinced to let I-club hold this event becuase of last years issues and safety concerns.

You hold the potential to ruin it for us all if you were to act recklessly and 'show boat' while driving up there....which could get the july 23rd meet cancelled.....

Check this thread incase you haven't seen it yet https://www.i-club.com/forums/bay-area-15/%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A-last-year-hamilton-thanks-speeders-%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A%2A-139279/

If you are in a Suby and draw attention, I would imagine the CHP and Rangers drawing the conclusion that you are part of I-club and shutting the event down.

No problem. Didn't take it as anything that could be "wrong" just be careful as they (CHP and Park Rangers (hey Boo-boo)) Will already have it out for us, and be looking for anything to possibly shut Hammy down.

Be safe.

Yeah. Might be a wise idea to lay off "running" hammy for a couple weeks before and after the meet. After that it should be back to normal.

CHP is doing a fund raiser right now or something because they are in full effect everywhere right now. There was one camped out the restaurant I was at last night. He made AT LEAST 20 passes down the road in a 2 hour period. Pulled one guy over leaving the place because the light on his lisense plate was TOO BRIGHT. I'm not kidding.

even pulled him out to do the dui test on him. he blew .02.

so just be careful. you can have a bit of fun on the hammy without pushing it to hard. It's a fun road even in 2nd gear. stay safe.

besides...if you **** it up for everyone........I'd sell your suby and run and hide on honda-tech.com or something because the results will be similar to what happens when someone blows a goal and the world cup in cuba or brazil.

shouldn't be worried about me and justin, they should be worried about this damn UC Berkley chick crossing the double yellow on Hammy, almost sending other cars over the edge.

good luck to the guys who actually will run hammy at the meet.
