The roof wing is called the Vortex Generator. Its made out of ABS plastic. It creates extra downforce at high speeds.

It's also been known to generate a sound something like "ooooooooooh negguh, that isht is sick!" out of ricers all over the country. That trick lil carbon fiber parking break handle also causes the same noise to happen, and increases the marketability of this car to jackasses.

So what exactly 'dropped' Chris? Oooooh, are you referring to how quick Mitsu's depreciate? Something like, "I just bought this MR for 30 GRAND and now it's worth 26! Daaaayamn that **** dropped!"

Hehe, I hope you hold on to your car Chris, don't do it bro! Resist the American-esque glow of the MR.

i think you just pronounce it as evo from evolution. no clue how "EE vo" became the us pronouciation, i guess that's similar thing that happened with SUBURU as well.

...so how is Subaru pronounced? suhbahruh? soobiroo? hahaha...I guess we should just call our cars 'the Pleiades' right? Because that's what subaru means in english and I don't speak Japanese?

Or maybe 'Open Cluster M45', 'Messier Object 45', or 'the Seven Sisters'? Or just 'a small part of the constellation Taurus'...

people always make foreign words more compatible with their own language...

Hahaha! I remember having to learn the major Messier numbers/anomolies in Astronomy. I bet you that little comment went over a few heads. God bless college, it fills you with useless information.

I, being of the Asian persuasion want to correct the JDM pronounciation of this car. It's not:

eh-vo

It's:

eh-bo

Darn Asians can't pronounce the letter "V" if their life depended on it.

it's true that the JDMs call it "eh-vo", I've just always called it the eee-vo, because that's what I called the special BMW E30 M3 models...

There's one in the parking lot at work already. I don't like that thingy on above the back window, or the antenna . Otherwise it's pretty cool. It's an 18 year old technician. I talked to him and asked if he had any plans, "yeah Ima git a blow off valve n exhaust, maybe nitrous in a few months, oh and Im gonna put a system in this weekend" It made me sooooo sad.
