Motorcycle stolen in Livermore!

My cousin's motorcycle was stolen last night. He lives in an apartment complex off of N. Livermore.

His bike was a 2005 Suzuki GSX-R1000. Please keep an eye out for it!

*edit* It was a 2005 not 2004.

Damn that sucks. I have an 03 1000 and would be pissed.

I really don't think he will ever see the bike again. Its probably all parted out now. Somewhat optimistic news is the 06 is about to come out. Any noticeable visual changes? (exhaust, wheels etc?)

Its bone stock, but its not the most common bike out there so hopefully it will turn up. Last thing I heard was the police saw a similar bike on the back of a pickup, but they didn't stop the guy b/c my cousin hadn't reported it yet. They must have seen the guy right after he stole it!

sorry to hear. That poor bike is prolly just a frame now. Does his insurance cover the loss?

Nope, he said the insurance was too expensive ($400-500/month). He probably wishes he had paid the extra $ now.

Was he 16 years old or something? I'm 26 and pay $63 a month for 2 road going bikes. 96 zx7r/03 gsxr1000 full coverage with a $250 deductible.

He's 22...I don't know why it was so much, but he did have a few speeding tickets.
