Money no object: tires and wheels

So... this is a pretty open-ended question:

If you wanted *the* best tires and *the* best (lightest) wheels, cost no object, what would you guys buy? (for your WRX)

I'm sorta out of my elemet here. I know if I wanted to get the best stuff for my motorcycle, I'd call for magnesium or carbon wheels and Michelin Pilot Powers, but I don't keep up on the car stuff like you cats.

So, what'll it be?

theres no such thing as the best tire or wheel. Tires are specific to an application. There are great tires for the track, off-road, snow, rain...etc. Wheels are the same way. Are you looking for performance or looks. Performance wise the lightest/strongest are probably anything that is forged magnesium, but if you want looks it could be those 18" chrome spinnaz if thats what your into.

Ohh... I should have clarified: performance would be your top priority.

its hard to say whats the best wheel i guess anything that is REAL would be the best

rays (volks) advan jline (my favorite) jdm oem options (ver7 golds ect.) works prodrives

best thing maybe would be to just search around the gallery here and get a feel for different rims

watch out for the rotas they might look real but they dont fool the good eye
haha

My opinion for my uses (mostly dry road driving, occasional rain, have WRX stockers for snow) would be 17" SSR Comps and S-03's. If I drove less, I would throw on a set of RA-1's. DONE.

Magnesium Volks and S03's.

Maybe S02's if it rained less.
