Mod Friendly dealership?

Does anyone know of any mod friendly dealerships in the bay? I see putnam selling alot of subarus (or maybe its just me?), has anyone had any experiences with them before?

TIA

I've had no issues with any of the dealerships I've taken mine to. If your car is definitely not legal, that might be a different story though.

Most dealerships don't give a crap. It's not like they're gonna turn you in to the ref.

Santa Cruz subaru offered to install aftermarket parts for me and they've seen my car plenty of times throughout it's life. Probably 30 time. LOL.

Call around and ask what dealership would be OK with installing a Dom 3.0 turbo for you, the one that says "we will" is the shop you go to.

Disclaimer* - i dont really advise you do this.

What are your mods? I'm guessing you are worried about having your warranty flagged for having power adders.

Since no one has asked, I will. Why are you going to the dealership for in the first place? Regular maintenance, service repair?

I'm only running a Cobb stage 1. I posted my car problem before (either here or nasioc), but it was a intermittent whirring noise from the engine bay.

The noise would go away when i placed pressure on the clutch, but a few days ago, the sound got REALLY loud, and would get louder after I placed pressure on the clutch. It lasted for about half a minute while at a stop light and it hasn't happened again since.

I only ever go to the dealerships for warranty issues (I brought it in once for the same problem to my dealership, but they couldn't recreate the problem and I just took the car home). I prefer to do regular maintenance myself as it helps me learn more about my car

TL;DR my clutch seems to be having issues, and I'm worried they might deny a warranty claim because of my ecu has been reflashed.

Take off the AP, and hopefully they don't dive into the ECU.

So...

You do your own maintenance. Your car has been modified to produce more power. You are now having problems with the clutch.

You want the dealer to look at this as a warranty issue?

Sorry, but this seems really unfair to me.

its been doing that even before I went stage 1 FYI, If you had read above, I had originally brought it into the dealership on a prior occasion. I am posting to find out about dealerships, not your holier-than-thou opinion on the issue.
