Why go so far? You can get ordained online in like 5 min.

I have a few friends who have done this and performed several weddings already.

but i am not doing it to be a pastor of a church heh. i want my job to be a leader of mission trips in africa and what not. but not the typical lets go share God yayyy... i believe in reap what you sow.. and doing things for others brings back great things to yourself. whether that be success, or just the great feeling of knowing i helped someone in need.

g'luck man, I'm at a seminary now and know a few folks who do int. missionary work...no doubt its challenging, but also rewarding. There are quite a few school locally that can equip you with what you're seeking. Patten College in Oakland, Western in Los Gatos and Fuller Theological in Menlo Park.

you can't learn and understand the Bible in 5 minutes.. unless you can read like superman.. that'd be rad.

Sweet man. I refrained from posting because I can not stand the type of missionary that does good things in rough areas simply to recruit. That's just a bogus, enthnocentrist/cutleral elitism church recruiting trip disguised as charity work.
The way you're looking at is is truly noble, however. Good for you man; actually doing what so many faux religious people claim thier followers should do while living in 4k+ sqft homes and driving bimmers themselves. God speed.

^^i agree. the idea of having an agenda is lame.. i mean i have an agenda but its not to force anything down peoples throats. i feel i should help people whether they believe in the samething as me or not. and i shouldn't only help them just to teach them about God, i should help them just to do it. i am very anti-God is all there is and if you don't believe that then damn you!!!! i hate that attitude.. everyone lives their life.. who is to say mine is right? or theirs is right? no one truly knows so i will share things where people want to listen.. and let them decide for themselves as i have decided for myself.
in the mean time i will help them where i can.

^^i will if you want me to
im not embarrassed of my belief just like you aren't embarrassed of your belief.. i think if you believe in something and aren't some fanatical person about it.. then you should get respect. i believe in what i believe in for my personal reasons and that by no means makes me want to push it on others..
i have that mind set because it would **** me off if some Mormon was telling me im wrong and that i need to believe in what he believes in.. i would think no way this guy is nuts.. which is why i don't push my belief.. because people would be thinking the samething about me.
