I've been to LIC once and GST twice (once for work, once for parts). They are both great shops but I think I'd favor LIC because of customer service, the guys at GST seemed a little distant and were just like "here are your keys, adios" but it could have been an off day for them because the next time I was there for parts they were friendlier.

Seriously though, LIC. Two words: disco ball.

"here are your keys, adios" I guess you are one of the more luckier ones. G-Reg's extra mile service... let's just say what I've seen gives me nightmares at night...

I usually go to Andrew and Legson at S&S Auto Concepts in Concord, good place for Martinez, Concord, Walnut Creek, east bay locals.

Lots of good shops in the bay.

Speed Element is great. My car is there right now... They are close by me, competent, and a great bunch.

Hey Matt,
Sorry if I came off the wrong way your first experience. Being the lone ranger in the office I can get quite busy sometimes doing multiple things. I strive to give that little extra for every customer (no Kevin I am not talking about reach arounds) but I do have bad days like anyone else. Just wanted to apologize because I do what I do cause I love helping others achieve their goals and seeing the look on their face when they come back from a test drive so these kind of experiences you mentioned really catch my attention. Appreciate your honesty Matt. Noah, Adam and Dave are a great bunch of guys who do great work! w00t for LIC!

Cheers,
Greg
