mechanics in & around concord?
Hi all. I'm new around here, so new that I don't have a subie yet. But I'm checking out a used '03 WRX up in Concord this weekend.
I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on a mechanic in the area up there that I could get to check it out, if I get seriously interested in this particular ride. I live in Oakland and I'm not too familiar with the Concord area.
Did a bit of searching through the forums, but I didn't find too much, so I'm hoping that someone here will have a tip. I'm looking forward to participating more actively in these forums once I've got a new ride in my driveway :-D

Talk to Andrew. He has been to quite a few of our local Subaru meets. He used to work at one of the major vendor's shops on here until he opened up his own. He loves Subarus (in fact their shop car is a WRX).

andrew is top notch, he is my brother from another mother. He used to work with me and he has my old WRX and he has done all the work since day one at he shop and tell him he cant play guitar like me.lol..

Hey guys, thanks for all the endorsements. Andrew checked out the car yesterday and gave it a hearty thumbs up. It's a bone stock '03 WRX in white with no spoiler, 44K on the clock. I'm going back to do a final test drive and price negotiations tomorrow.
