Decent mechanics around Daly City?
Hey guys,
I bought a 04 WRX about two weeks ago with 121k on the clock. Completely stock
I've driven it from San Francisco to Santa Barbara and back, and now its time for an oil change and to get the suspension looked at (axle nuts, etc). Since I just moved to the San Francisco from LA, I don't know of any competent mechanics that don't charge an arm and a leg.
Thanks
[Edit]: Place should be open on Saturday, since I work 9am-6pm Mon-Fri.

i dunno if this helps because it is kind of out of your way but i have dealt with Kuno's Independent Auto in Redwood City and they are a good, HONEST shop. never feel pressured and have pretty decent prices.

I guess I'll give them a call and ask how much it is to install an up-pipe while I'm there.
If Kevin doesn't answer, don't take it personally. I would call first to make an appt (don't just show up there unannounced, did that a couple times only to find out he wasn't there lol), if no answer, type in a reply at the above link I gave u

Funny thing... I emailed them on the 17th and got an email today in the morning saying that they were unable to schedule with me. Good thing I called on the 18th and set up an appointment by phone

About to find out tomorrow. I'm not going there as much for the oil change as to have the entire car looked at. On my way from SB to SF I had this problem:

which went away after I did an ECU reset.
