they idea about the maya calendar is that even resets to 0 sometime in dec of 2012 but it actually just starts with a one and cycles again. since they don't start their calendar with a zero. People thinking the maya calendar ends in 2012 would be the same as people thinking our calendar ending in 10000 since we don't say 02010
Yeh, and the only corner left on the pacific 'ring of fire' left to be hit hard is the Cascadian subduction zone (ie west coast US). Be ready guys, seems like alot of shifting of techtonic plates going on right now, plus we are looooong overdue.
