Talking Mars Volta ROCKS THE HOUSE!

Anyone catch the show at the Greek Theatre in Berkely!

So ****in cool. I didn't like them very much in the past but then my cousin bought me a ticket so I said 'what the hell'. I am happy that I went because this was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. The venue was great as well.

Anyone went that wants to share?

I saw them when they toured with APC last year... yes they're pretty interesting to watch/listen to, even when they only play like 5 songs (granted each song is one big 17 min jam). I really enjoyed the Comatorium album but haven't been able to get into their lastest effort though.. its a little too nebulous for my tastes I guess. Especially considering I've been listening to nothing but Weezer and JEW for the past month. heh.

We went last Fri night and they were great. Their drummer is so f-ing sick. we were down in the cement steps area and was pretty close.

Only thing that sucked was the $8 beers and countless white guys with afros.
