Make it a good weekend...
w/ some good ribs.
I've been making ribs for awhile. Though they have been good, they just haven't been right. I found this recipe and tried it last night. I won't call a recipe any more because you really don't make anything. But these turned out awesome.
How to make it a good weekend. make some ribs, booze and playoff football. YEAH!
baby back pork ribs - how ever much you want, I suggest a few slabs
your favorite bbq sauce, I used Sweet baby rays.
your favorite rub, I used a cajun spice rub. Both can be bought at the store.
get a large piece of foil. put the rub on the ribs and sauce (don't skimp), then wrap the foil tight and put in the fridge over night. on a cookie sheet, bake at 300 for 2.5 - 3 hrs. then take out of foil, brush on more sauce, broil for a few minutes (keep your eye on this part, don't burn it)
the ribs are so tender, falls off the bone. my family loved these and they were so easy to make. in fact I just had leftover for brunch.! enjoy

That recipe sounds good, the slower the cooking, the better.
There's also a place in the city at the intersection of Divisdero and Grove called Brother In Laws that's really good. I go there when I get the cravings...it's a truely ghetto area, but you have people from all walks of life standing in line to get the grub

If you're ever in Hayward or anywhere near there, there is an Everett and Jones down A Street. I heard it's not as good as the original places, but worth a try in my opinion. Darn good potato salad!
