I have 18's en tranzit. Gunmetal. Need to lower car, but dont have enough for tein flex coilovers...yet...so Eibach Pro kit it is. But, i dont know lots about lovering a car. MPJ performance will sell me a springs / install, but will i need alignment?? is it good to wait a few days to align (or a few weeks) due to the springs setteling in (droping lower)(happened to my friends mustang...will i need to adjust camber also??? how is this done. are there a few good shops that can do this, or can MPJ do it?? idunno, but still not "car savvy" on subarus, so need all the help i can get. looked on suspension forum, but got lost in all the topics. couldnt find what i really wanted to hear. so ill try this.
-Thanks.

You will need to re-align you car.
Adding negative front camber always helps. Your existing camber bolts are good for up to neg. 1.5*
I'm not sure what teh Eibachs will do to your rears, but adjustability is good.
I take my car to Roger Krauss Racing in Castro Valley for alignments, but I hear that MPJ/GBM likes some local wheelworks, who knows.

lowering with 18's? aren't you a bit worried about rubbing?
If you're just looking for that lowered look i think 18" wheels would do that just fine without lowering. Even a 17" wheel fills the fender pretty well.

Proper sized aftermarket wheel/tire diameters should be almost identical on 17" and 18" wheels as that of the stock wheel/tire setup so the fender gap will be the same.

If you kill all the front wheelgap, you will also kill all the wheel travel....

I have 18's and I have the Tein S.Tech springs..... -2.0" front drop, -.7" rear drop...... No rubbing, not even remotely close....but make sure your rims are the proper offset for your car, or rubbing MAY be a problem. I believe my offset is about 45 or so.....I dont totally remember.
and YES.....YOUR CAR WILL SETTLE A BIT AFTER LOWERING IT.....
See my lowering suspension issues Here
For the record......My car DID settle down into an EVEN STANCE, and it took a month or more to totally settle.
Mine actually is about -2" front drop, and a little over -1.0" drop rear after settling.
Yes, you will need a 4 wheel alignment after your lower it.....and you SHOULD do it SOON after your car is lowered....
hope this helps
-Ted
