Suspension question - my car is lopsided!

ok, so I have TEIN S.Tech springs, thats it....and the other day I noticed that in the parking garage at my apartment, my car was pretty low....so I measured the gap between the top of my tire and the fender, on all 4 corners of the car....and I noticed that the left side of the car is about 1/4 of an inch lower than the right side, front and rear! So I thought hmmmm, maybe its the parking area....so I measured it again when I was out running errands with the wheels straight and on a level parking surface...and got the same results.....

is this normal? are my springs ed? can it be corrected? HELP!!!! What should I do?????

Maybe you have them on the wrong way? Like the back left is supposed to be on the right front so the front is a little lower than the back? Or if theyre adjustable they arent adjusted tot he same level.

I guess it's because springs will be "settle" a bit after a while. Did you just install it not long ago? I bet you usually drive by yourself (who doesn't?) and because of your weight, it will make the springs on the left hand side (driver side) to settle quicker than the right side. The right side will eventually settled but to speed things up, may be you should consider giving people rides more often?

I actually had Streetwize install the springs....so I am sure they are in correctly (atleast they BETTER be). And I have had them installed for a few months now.

I actually thought about that too....I guess that WOULD cause the springs to settle faster on the left...but how long does it take for the springs to fully settle?

I guess, thats more incentive to get a g/f huh, so my springs settle more evenly....LMAO...I can see it now...."HI, will you be my g/f?, I need someone that will ride around with me in my car alot so my new springs will settle evenly." ROTFLMAO

ask a girl, who is a friend, and is single and would like to know "better"...

then ask her to "help" you out by sitting on the pass seat. then start complementing her how she looks good in that seat, yada, yada, yada...

I would take the car to auto innovations and have Steve or Orlando look at it. I have/had the Tein S Tech springs on my wagon and I never had the problem of a lopsided car. And I pretty never have other people with me. So I think something might be wrong.

So how low are the Tein s-techs? Do they make the fender gap disappear?

I knew Victor and Art at Streetwize, but I never knew that Bravas, AC Schnitzerand other high dollar German performance was considered Rice? Or did BMWs, Benz, and etc dropped down to rice on your chart?

Please check your info before pointing fingers. Old School Old Mindset.

I myself tend to believe that anyone with a "z" in their name where an "s" ought to appear is being run by dumb asses.

They either don't know how to spell or are caught up more in trends than passion for speed.

Benz's and whatnot are not rice automatically, however I'll bet well over 3/4 of the cars that come out of there leave with a hole lot of money spent on lame dress up/show items instead of items that will improve the performance of their cars.

That to me, makes them rice. Or like I said, trendy, which is even worse.

Any performance shop that would touch an Escalade will never touch my car.
