thanks for all the good suggestions. The stock wheels that i bought have toyos on them but one of them has a diy patch on it, should i trust it on snow? Maybe i'll buy a fix a flat just in case.

Drive carefully, a few years ago before I got my STI. I crashed my 00' 2.5rs into the side of the road (hit a patch of black ice).

Oh for sure man!

I already got a lift ticket for Northstar... so when I go up there I'll let you know cause we're gonna stay at my friends family cabin on the west shore. I'll still be down to come up to bear though, haven't got a chance to test out the conversion in the snow yet!

But as for the original topic. When I had my Legacy I took it up plenty of times on RE92's and never had much problem. I mean the car would sometimes slide around here and there but just go slow and be careful. Don't make any drastic quick manuvers cause they get multiplied x10 when you're on slippery wet snowy ground.

The same happened to me when i took the suv, hit a patch and lost control, let go of the gas and slowed down. A friend slammed into a wall of snow from swerving right before me.

Hope to see some of you up there in Tahoe, I'm there from 28th to the 31st. The original RE92 tires should hold up for one more trip there.
