just got a new clutch form carlsen(great customer service) on monday and now my car seems to idle pretty low at around 900 wen it used to idle at 1200.
whats the normal idle for 02 rex? and it sounds like its close to stall out in neutral but never does?
can anyone help?

Yeah, I idle at about 600.

 

900 is pretty high let alone 1200. Most of us idle around 500 - 600. My idle is at 525. Depending on your mods, if any, it tends to idle lower such as with headers and lightened flywheels. At 900, it should not be acting as if it wants to stall! Do you have any mods? If so, do you have engine management? Could be just a tuning issue.

yeah when im at warm operating temp, im idling at 500 too.

 

thanks for the input guys... i went to the dealership today and they told me it was idling at normal and my car isnt close to stalling out.
i guess i was just being paranoid...

 

i'd say mine is rougly 600-750ish?

 

mines about 600 or so.

 

mine get down to about 400.
