Loose rear end…what would you have done?
please go back there and try it agian, this time dont use your seatbelt, it is what caused you to ver correct and jab the brakes.... trust me on that.. and next time make sure to lay into the gas really hard then right at the apex slam the brakes like a cheap hooker.. and aim for the cliff you get bonus points for big air..

i'll have to agree with most of the other ppl in: please don't try that again on public roads. for your own safety and the safety of others. take it someplace where u can't run into someone else or run yourself off the road either.
as for tracking, it's safe if you know to take it slow and find the limits slowly.
i've been tracking for a while and it's general consensus to take certain turns slower than your ability just to preserve your own car...
in the future, once you've gained experience on better handling your car, to come out of a sideways situation, point the steering wheel where you want the car to go, and apply more gas. lifting/braking will cause your car to spin.. and overcorrecting the countersteer will cause you to drastically change directions once the wheels catch... that happened to me

I think everything has been pretty much covered on this....so I picked this one..haa.
Definately your tires man. I put my car damn near backwards on an onramp trying to keep up with another board member who had better tires. and now that my re92s have 25k on them.....I can put my back end out at will pretty much. especially if there is any water on the road..yeeehaw.
not that I condone driving like a ****** on public roads where you put other cars in danger.
For the most part...I'll drive hard...but I can tell when my traction is as far as it can go. No risky business until I get some new wheels/tires and hit a couple track days.
Best advice given...brucelee.... new tires....track days. The more you know your car the safer you are and the safer everyone around you is.

after the classroom session the drivers drills are very educational, and gravel/dirt helps you get a feel for dealing with loss of traction at much lower (safer) velocities.
