Looking for a south bay shooting range

Any recommends?

Looking for an indoor (or maybe outdoor) shooting range where I can go during lunch, rent a gun, buy some ammo (or bring), shoot, pay, and leave; all in about an hour. Fair prices.

Prefer to rent semi auto pistols, 9mm or similar. but revolvers ok too. Looking for a calibur that's cheap not expensive but stronger than "pop gun" .22s.

I don't know much about guns, but I've shot a few times before with friends.

targetmasters in milpitas rents too.

just be prepared to bring a friend or another firearm with you when you rent.

reasoning is that you are less likely to commit suicide if you are with someone or if you already have your own firearm.

if you go there, alone and no firearm, those are triggers (pun intended) letting the staff know something maybe up.

Are you saying the staff treats singles with suspicion, or that the environment will make me want to spontaneously commit suicide?

Oh.

Firearm rentals and purchases
Please note that firearms rentals are for two or more people.

Only Reed's ammunition may be used in any rental gun. Firearm rentals are also available for classes held at the range for an adjusted fee.

no, because TM has had their share of suicides in their shooting lanes, by people who rent a gun there...

scary and sad at the same time...
