Pleasanton/Livermore rod and gun has 25 and 100 targets that can both be shot from the same bench. Comes in handy when trying to find the point-of-aim necessary to hit close targets with guns zeroed at 100.

chabot gun club near oakland has them...

i haven't been tere in a long time though, so i'm not sure if they only allow pistolas to use the 25 yard area...calling them would be your best bet probably. I think you can do it if you get permission from the RSO.

peace

No one ever hassles me for my AR-15... Sometimes the range master will come up to me and say "Nice gun", "Make sure you don't rapid fire... ha ha"... but thats about it. Ive even brought a 90 round drum out.

Where do you go with the AR? I have one but I didn't want to have any problems so I have yet to shoot it. (yes It sucks having such a nice gun and not being able to shoot it.)

If you don't have access to a 100yr range and are not zeroing iron sights, then a good bore sight used properly should be able to get you on paper so you can start dialing-in an optic at 100.
