looking for good local cylinder porting/assembly shop
Hey i have a set of ej257 sti heads that i would like to get decked/mild ported/assembled with valvetrain/cams and i am looking for a good reputable shop around this area. i live in monterey so anything within 2-3 hour drive would be great! looking to get it done in the next couple weeks.

also, will these heads work with stock wrx intake manifold? i know i would need to cam position sensor bracket but what else would i need?

Try giving LIC a call.

IIRC, they have a machine shop that they work with for building motors and porting stuff.

ok i will hit them up. anyone else have any opinions or suggestions?! heads should be here this week and i am stooked!!

Heh - +1. I was just going to post them up. They do great work, though last thing I had them do was around 3 years ago.
