I just went to one of the local mechanics and he checked out the CEL code and gave a quick look around and said the air intake (he believes) is giving out a bad signal to the o2 sensor, spiking a code. I confer with this allegation. The air intake I have installed right now is for a different year Impreza.

Additionally, the stock filter is horrendously dirty, so if someone has some of those lying around, that’s be great.

Also, if I come to the UCKK meet (this Tuesday?), can someone install this intake and show me how to do it?

After all of these years, I'm finally taking an interest in learning how to do it, so I figure this is the best way.

Tell you what Sev, If you still have the stock airbox, i'll pick up a standard filter from pepboys for you. I don't have anything laying around, but I'll get a regular (new) one for you. See you at UCKK.

Also, I just realized that I've got a test this Wednesday for a nutrition class (yea, ugh, winter class). Hold off on anything until confirmation. I am just so confused with myself right now.
