Looking to buy a new camera need help

Im looking to buy a new digital camera but i wasnt sure on which one. I have some questions.

What camera do you have?

Do you like the features?

Is it good quality pictures?

Prices?

Do you like it?

and any other things you can think of.

TIA Daniel

it does large prints fine, awesome night shots. i guess its kinda noisy but i could give a F cuz i saved $500 by not buying a canon XT haha! wish i had an XT tho

if you like it, Frys Palo Alto has their floor model with no accesories for $100

and www.dpreview.com

as long as you have manual mode, any point and shoot will do i think. just dont spend more than $400 on one cuz u'd be better off with an SLR

if you want the real hook up, go to Palo Alto Fry's, they have a hidden glass shelf on the ground full of floor model cameras, like 15 different ones from $69-$130 sold as is, but if it works, then it wil be worth it. they had some big point and shoots with M mode, chances are the big ones will take better pictures

i think it was this one they had for like $100

I have a Sony DSC-W1. It takes way too many blury shots and is pretty bulky. I don't recommend it or any other sony digital camera. If you want point and shoot, go with a Cannon SD200 or 500, the 600/700 are not as good. Anything beyond that go with SLR.

The SD800 IS is really good, it has the image stabilizer system, and is better than the SD1000 or 900's. If I were to get a point and shoot, I'd definitely get a SD800. You can get it for 250-350 if you can find a good deal.

also www.fatwallet.com and ******************** are your friends. Sometimes they have amazing deals on camera's.

If you are looking for something more than a point and shoot, the sub 1000 DSLR are very nice. I suggest the Rebel XTi or the Nikon D40, both are around 700-800 range. They take very nice shots and are great for amatuer/beginner photographers. I'm actually looking into getting a XTi for about 660 with the kit lense, but not sure if the deal is super legit.

Also, if you're ordering online, make sure to check their rating at www.resellerrattings.com . A lot of websites are actually scams where thyesell you refurbed items or just bait you with a cheap price and try to sell you a bunch of overpriced extras...and it's a hassle.

I use a Kodak Z-740.

It doesn't even have image stabilization, but i'm good enough with it that i can take some pretty damn nice shots. The newer Kodaks have image stabilization and are like around 7.1MP now.
