The guy that had it before me sent out the intake/valve cover to Microcoat, its a ceramic/aluminum thermal coating that polishes out like aluminum, might be a bit blingy in a newer car but will probably look fine in an old spit

well, since it's an old school car, you might as well keep the powerplant and chassis same. My suggestion? 67.5-68 Datsun 1600 with a redtop SR20DET. better yet, a Datsun 510 with a RB25DET.

Why 67.5 to 68 1600(510)? There are almost no changes from 67 to 73 other than cosmetic ones.

why do you say I should keep an old school cars powrplant and chassis the same then say to do the swap into a 510 or 1600, both those cars ar even older than mine?


and there no practical reason to drop an RB into a 510,

wow, FINALLY getting the car out today to the body shop to finish the body work and then paint, going to be painted PSM to match my other cars
