Did she see them do the damage? My guess is that she didn't go look also, imagine if he never goes out with her again, would she want to be a witness? Maybe she's afraid they would revoke her green card (that's a joke )

well thanks for all the good luck wishes everyone.

but im @&^%#$'ed big time.

thanks for the lawyer recomendation dahveed, his office doesnt go to sacramento, but he reffered me to a local lawyer.

local lawyer says it looks very grim. they dont have to read me my rights if they just pull me out of the car and take me to jail. they only have to read rights if they are going to question me about it.

the girl involved doesnt really want to be a witness, and the cost to fix my rim and tire is the least of my worries...

im losing my license guys, and might have to sell my baby

?Okay now what the heck did you do that caused you to lose your license that didn't damage anyone/anything else? I know you said it was stupid, but I can't fathom what that would be since drunk driving doesn't even have that penalty.

Unhappy

Sorry to hear of your misfortune!

Everybody makes mistakes. Did you know that if you refust to take a blood/****/breathalizer, that you will mandatorily lose you liscence for 6 months, buy cannot be convicted of a DUI?

Loopholes baby!

Good luck Sacwagon!

As such that type of cop will often do stuff like that. Perhaps it is a little unconventional but I think that it's more effective than just pulling someone over. In the case where you get pulled over one might think that they just weren't paying enough attention to look for cops. In the other scenario... well the cop is right next to you! Kinda makes you think 'eh!

Cheers, Joe
That's actually a good point.

Personally, i don't anyone should be able to drive if they have any amount of alchohol in them...

However, it happens. I'm really glad that you didn't hurt anyone, or yourself.

Why didn't you have your date drive? had she been drinking too?

I AGREE 100% WITH THIS GUY.

i didnt want to post up the reason why im in trouble because i know it was stupid and i would deserve to get flamed. however, i hope that my mistake might make at least one of you think twice before you drive with alcohol in you.

i really dont party all that often, and when i do i really normally call a cab. friday night was just plain stupid. i just broke up with my GF of 5 years on wednesday. and i went out on friday with this new girl. it was the first time meeting this new girl and she CAN DRINK. we really got along great and both of us simply drank too much. there was a point when i had my last drink and PLANNED on staying at the club and drinking water for the next 2 hours. (this was at midnight).

i know its no excuse, but all of the sudden on the dancefloor this chick whispers in my ear "we ned to get a hotel room"

i lost all good judgement and jumped behind the wheel.

stupid stupid stupid. i am very thankfull that i didnt hurt anyone.

lesson learned

No isht!

I can spot a Crown Vic from a mile away, in the day, or the night.

It was a Super Charged Park Avenue Ultra (Buick).

It was 2 guys...probably detectives because they had business suits on, and the car was UNMARKED (READ>>>NO CALIFORNIA EXEMPT PLATES, NO CAGE IN THE BACK, NO CHERRY HOOD IN FRONT OF THE REAR VIEW MIRROR!!!)...

I thought it was some yuppie dude trying to show off his Super Charged grandma car to his buddy...It was in the yuppie part of Sacramento (Laguna West, where I used to live).

I am stupid, but not that stupid. The emergency lighting was behind the grill...2 strobes, and 2 cherries...
