Thumbs down look what Sac Sherrifs did to my wheel

so im driving friday night and got into a bit of trouble with my car. Sacramento Sherrifs decided i needed to go to jail. Luckily, they decided not to tow the car because AWD and there was a hotel parking lot right there.

So they put me in the back of the cop car and one of the cops jumps in my car and tries driving it. He killed it 3 times just trying to turn it around. I was on a first date with a girl i just met and she was still in the car. She said that he kept killing it and that he said "its been along time since ive driven a stick". On the way to the parking lot, apearantly he bashes a curb. Looking at the destruction, he must have hit it pretty hard.

the whole thing was really stupid on my part. it was a really bad first impression on my date though. she had to get a hotel room for the night and take a cab back to her car the next day. i was in jail for 14 hours. suprisingly, she still wants to see me again!

Sac Sherrif 2. me zero .

just wanted to share my story, thank you for reading

dam thats brutal!

Im pretty sure that thing about reading your rights is only required when questioning you. They're called Miranda rights. They only say them all the time on TV cause well, its TV.

They are compelled to read you your Miranda rights, and they owe you for the damage caused to your tire & wheel, regardless of what you did....PM me....

But that all depends on the incident. A lot of times they have to hold you until your lawyer is present. If it is on a friday nite what do you think is better? Sitting in jail until your lawyer comes in, finding out you are guilty then paying the fine(s) and lawyer bills or pleading guilty at the time avoiding jail time on your record and just paying the fine which may be lowered for making their jobs easier and not dragging on what ever stupid act you did.

I hope that it is not as stupid as what I did a year and a half age!

My god I was an idiot...

I drag raced an undercover cop in Elk Grove

I was entrapped though, and they knew it...so I did not go to Jail, nor did I get a ticket!

They revved on me (Sac Sheriff) in a SC Buick Park Avenue, so I stomped them handly, then I looked up and saw two reds and strobes from behind to grill!

Got out, told me that I was an idiot, and cussed at me, then told me to go home!

THAT WAS PRETTY STUPID!

You have to tell us what you did! C'mon! man...we have to hear the story!

Yes, you need to get a layer. Call the guy that dahveed recommended. You probably got charged with a misdemeanor or perhaps even a felony (reckless driving). And for whatever dumba$$ told you to just pay the "fine," they don't just fine you for those types of offenses. You must always plead guily before paying a fine, unless it's a traffic school fee. Get the lawyer to either reduce the charges (you do NOT want a misdemeanor or felony on your record) or get you off. If they didn't read you your rights, you are set. Good luck and you get the for letting those coksuckers screw up my old wheel!!!!

Hurting! Most of us have had our run-ins with the law. Hopefully you'll get repaid for the crap they did to your car. That's absolutely unbelievable. Good luck!

You need to file a claim to get repair money. You need to do this ASAP...the longer you wait the more they can say, "It was like that" or "You did that after we took you in" stuff.

Good Luck

they can't really say that since that girl was in the car as a witness...
