go to the US Post Office near SFO. they are quick and actually really nice. did not expedite and still got mine in under 10 days (as well)

went to the passport services in the city.. no appt needed.. got there way early, sat there for 30 minutes..told me to pick it up in 2 days. you do need all paperwork and a plane ticket booked though. crazy thing was that I waited outside longer than i was actually in the building!

Oh well, I went ahead and got it done already two days ago at the post office and had it expedited. I just wanted to really make sure and not cut it too close cuz I was told it'd take 30 days. I did have 30 days, but you know that golden rule of superstition, "What you think won't go wrong, will go wrong." I forgot I even posted this thread after I had it done. LOL.
