London bombings ...

Four bombings, 3 on the underground and one on a double decker bus ... awful.

I am originally from England and can remember when the IRA bombed Harrods in the early 80's. Both my sister and I were living in London at the time and coincidently both of us were on our way to Harrods that afternoon! The bus I was on stopped at Hyde Park Corner. Traffic was at a complete standstill. I got off and took a very round about way home - on foot. Our Parents were VERY glad to hear from us when we were finally able to phone home - no cell phones or email in those days!

I still have friends living in the London area and have emails out to all of them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I saw this first thing on the news when I woke up. Ever since 9/11 I check the news everyday before I leave the house.

My prayors go out to those people and their familys.

In the tube of all places..

I'm watching this right now on CNN. The Mayor of London made a very great statement about the attrition of the people there. I've got a friend heading out to London in the near future and things like this never occur to one's mind when they see a friend off to a new place. I'm sure it'll get sorted out, i just hope it does before something else happens somewhere around the globe. I feel inredibly sorry for the people of London right now.

Bombs are dumb, can we all please just stop with the immature bs? On a side note I saw lots of police WRXs in the news footage.

if you're stuck in traffic beside the bus...it won't really matter now, will it?

I have relatives in England and I got a call at 5:45 am letting us know everyone is ok. They are in Bermingham so it is like four hours from London but still good to know that they are ok.

I lived in Israel for seven years and I kinda got used to bombings if that is even possible. I guess you stop going hysterical and just get on with life as quickly as possible, but it is so terrible..

My uncle drives a double decker, and im glad he's ok according to my relatives in East Ham.

My aunt was really lucky and just missed getting killed. She got wet from the rain, so she went back home and changed....had she not done so..she would have been in one of the underground trains that exploded.

I am sorry for the innocent victims and hope that these cowardly acts of violence would stop.
