locked glove box and key won't work

The glove box lock on my 04 wrx, my girlfriends 07 2.5i and my 00 legacy all have issues with this
Takes a little 'jimmy-ing' to get it unllocked so I stopped locking them haha
I once couldn't get my wrx one open for a week and then I hit the glove box a few times and then it finally unlocked haha
