So, one day i hear a click and a rattle noise coming from my passenger side. i don't think anything of it until i reach for my glove box. I try to open it and it locked, which is weird because i never ever lock that thing. When i got home and took a closer look, i noticed that the lock/latch piece fell off and is no where to be found.

How do i get this damn thing open? I don't want to pry it open and have to buy a whole new compartment.

 

Duh buy a new car . but really Idk what to really do.

 

You may have to pry it open and buy new parts to fix it.

 

hahaha... maybe try taking the whole thing out? I don't know what that would do though

 

Borrow someones lock mechanism?

 

undo the side panel holding it in between teh dash and door

Then undo the metal piece on that side holding it up
then massage it open.
