THE SQUID IS DEAD!!! IF you ever went to school you would know the actual moving is just an reaction as of ice in a cup of water as it breaks down.

And the disgust with food you have never seen in person or tried, please grow the f' up, seriously....sound like a kid that never stepped out of the house.

Lol, trolled this from when heedz first showed me it. All the way into page 4, and people were still trying to claim it's torture.
Even if it were, it's a squid. COME ON! With all the things that happen to living human beings in the world, stuff that other humans afflict upon their own kind, and we're still ****tin ourselves over a freshly killed squid?
No wonder the "news" corporations make so much money from ad time while sensationalizing the death of one in soon to be 7 BILLION people in the world. People make, then eat controversy up. (lol, eat)
Keep a level head and wake up.

Back to the topic: THAS NASTY. Idk if I could do that...

This is crazy... to all the bleeding hearts out there, have you ever visited a slaughter house that produces your neatly wrapped, vacuum sealed steaks? How about the poultry farms that produce your drumsticks, thighs and breasts? Have you ever eaten a lobster or crab? Those are generally tossed into boiling water alive.

It seems our culture has an out of site, out of mind attitude toward the animals we eat. With our neatly pre-packaged meats, we are all completely disconnected from the actual slaughtering and butchering process so we don't even have to think of the protein we eat as being part of a living breathing animal. I personally believe that anyone who eats meat on a regular basis should have to kill/hunt/butcher an animal at some point in their lives to understand the process and take at least some ownership for what they're doing by eating meat in the first place. I think if some of you guys had gone through that, you would not be so shocked by these squirming tentacles of a dead squid.

Let me clarify that I'm all for minimizing cruelty of our livestock and the animals we consume and use in general. I just don't think that what was shown in this video is anywhere near the cruelty that all of our livestock currently undergoes to provide us with meat that we never have to think about. So before you get all high and mighty on something you haven't seen before, try to consider what kind of pain and suffering your meat consumption causes on a daily basis. Then you might re-evaluate your viewpoint a bit. It might seem weird, gross or disgusting to you and something that you have no interest in which is totally fine, but don't go putting morals into it.

Now if you're a vegetarian or vegan, I can totally understand you having an issue with this and meat eating in general. But the fact is that most of us eat our meat and enjoy it and that will not change . We just need to work on how we treat the animals we eat.

^Wow well put

I saw a video of how they prepared cows for slaughter and they showed the whole process and it was pretty damn gruesome.

But that's not the reason I became a vegetarian
